William F. Brown, 59, of Winston-Salem, NC died Friday, May 24, 2013 at home. He was born in Bath, NY the son of Henry and Winifred Shoemaker Brown. Mr. Brown was a graduate of Haverling Central School and Corning Community College. He was a computer programmer for Sealy Mattress Company in Winston-Salem, N.C. He is survived by his brother Henry ‘Hub’ and Pat Brown of Bath, NY; sisters, Judith and Clifford Cole of Tavares, FL, Charlotte and John Roche of Rochester, NY and Kathaleen and Phillip Glosick of Bath, NY, sister-in-law Jane Brown of Tavares, FL and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, sister and brother-in-law Mary and George Prentice, brother Harold ‘Bud’ Brown and nephew Robert H. Brown. Friends may call Friday May 31, 2013 from 1:00-2:00 pm at Fagan's Funeral Home, 31 West Morris St., Bath, NY. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 pm at the funeral home with Kitty Ormsby officiating. Burial will be in Nondaga Cemetery, Bath. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in William’s name may be made to the Centenary United Methodist Church, 3 West Washington St., Bath, NY 14810
