Obituary of Norma E. Faulkner
She was born on April 12, 1922, the daughter of Frank and Elizabeth (Hough) Dewert in Thurston, NY. Norma married Richard R. Faulkner who predeceased her in 1991. She was a waitress at Dutches Restaurant and was active in The Kanona Methodist Church, The Hammondsport Moose Club, and was a member of the Caton, NY Grange. .
Surviving Norma, one Son, Dennis (Joan) Faulkner of Bath, NY. two Daughters, Annette (Frank) Failing of Lewisberry, PA, and Sandra (Steve) Dow of Lakeland, FL. Six grandchildren, Richard Faulkner, Tracy Davis,Chris Failing, Kim Deibler, Stephanie Peabody, Justin Dow. Sixteen Great-Grandchildren. Three Step-Grandchildren, Steve Ohradzanski,Dawn Beckman and Carol Ohradzanski,
Predeceasing Norma, her husband, Richard R. Faulkner in 1991.
Calling hours will be held at Fagan's Funeral Home, 31 West Morris Street, Bath, NY on Thursday, August 1, 2013 from 4PM to 6PM with a service following at 6PM, Rev. Allan Jones officiating. Burial will be in Coopers Plains Cemetery, Painted Post, NY on Friday, August 2, 2013. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting that memorials be made in Norma's name to The Kanona Methodist Church, 7631 Route 53, Kanona, NY 14856. The Family of Norma would like to send a heartfelt Thank You to the Taylor Health Care Staff for the wonderful care they had given their mother.
