Obituary of Rita M. Denno

Rita M. Denno, age 89, of Olean, NY and formerly of Bath, NY died, Thursday, December 19, 2013 at the Pines Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center of Olean. She was born April 6, 2013 in Georgetown, NY the daughter of Rae and Nina (Gregg) Reynolds. Mrs. Denno was a retired Teacher from Bath Central School and she was an active member of St. Mary’s Church for many years.
She is survived by her children, Sue (Stephan) Piechota of Olean, NY and Richard (Christine) Denno of Marcellus, NY and grandchildren; Gregg Piechota, Erin (Jason) Sleggs, Renee Piechota, Megan (Paul) Sonderegger and Matthew (Jessica) Denno and 10 great grandchildren.
Family and friends are invited to call at Fagan’s Funeral Home in Bath on Monday December 23, 2013 from 1:00-2:30 pm. A Funeral Mass of Christian burial will follow on Monday at 3:00 pm at St. Mary’s Church in Bath with Reverend Pat Connor presider assisted by Deacon Dave Lafortune.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimers association at wwww.alzfdn.org.
