Mary L. Stinson, age 93 of Bath, NY died Thursday, February 6, 2014 at the Ira Davenport Memorial Hospital, Bath, NY. She was born October 28, 1920 in Wheeler, NY the daughter of Floyd and Ella (Williams) Shader. Mrs. Stinson was retired from the Bath V.A.M.C. She was a member of the Wheeler Methodist Church and the Charles E. Wescott American Legion Post 173 Auxiliary. She loved to cook and was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by three sons, Lawrence (Peggie) Stinson of Bath, NY, Donald (Suzanne) Stinson of AZ and John (Kathy) Stinson of VA, her daughter Gail Stinson of VA, 13 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Glen Stinson and sister Rose Towner. Friends may call on Tuesday February 11, 2014 from 2:00-3:00 pm at Fagan's Funeral Home, 31 West Morris St., Bath, NY. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 pm at the funeral home with Jerry Holcomb officiating. Burial will be in the Wheeler Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Wheeler Methodist Church, County Route 53, Bath, NY 14810 and the American Cancer Society.
