Obituary of Leah A. Eggleston

Leah A. Eggleston, age 69, of Bath, NY, died Sunday, February 9, 2014 at home. She was born December 11, 1944 in Corning, NY the daughter of Perry and Gladys Clark Eggleston. Leah worked at Philips Lighting in Bath. Leah loved going to the beach on vacations until having to fight a courageous battle with cancer for four years. She loved her family very much and is survived by her fiancé and life partner Gary Roberts and Gary’s children Carijo, Tallon and Ethan; three daughters, Timberly Stuart of Savona, NY, Tammy Lewis of Bath, NY and Ronda Dawson (Ken Travis) of Bath, NY; 12 grandchildren, Jason, Michael Allan, Rachael, Rebeca, Erica, Amber, Aleah, Melissa, Shawna, Angel,Bret Tylor and Becki, many great grandchildren, half sister, Phyllis Schaffer of PA, sister-in-law, Janice Eggleston of Addison, NY and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Perry and Gladys, three brothers, Donald Eggleston, Tuff Eggleston and Michael Eggleston. Friends are invited to call on Thursday February 13, 2014 from 12:00-2:00 and 5:00-7:00 PM at Fagan's Funeral Home, 31 West Morris St., Bath, NY. Funeral services will be follow at 7:00 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to The Relay for Life.org, Team Leah.
