Kevin and I met in San Francisco almost in the middle of the 1989 earthquake. We kept in touch until several years prior to his passing.
I am very sad and sorry to learn of his passing.
My deepest sympathies to everyone.
Kevin is responsible for a very thorough tour of the Washington Cathedral . I will forever remember his lectures on organs and organ music.
One of the smartest men I have ever met.

It's been 21/2 years and I still miss you every day. That particular hole in my life will never be filled because there is no one like you. Hope you're having fun wherever you are. I'm using all the stuff Pat gave me from your apartment-the Amazon Echo, the Turkish pillows on my couch, the African basket just inside my door where I put my keys, the giraffe salad servers--and your Kennedy Center ID hangs from my closet doorknob.

Worked with Kevin at Pal Tech and at the State Department at FSI. He was one of the best. So many memories shared. Went for sushi lunches along with with Kathleen McD and Kevin insisted on piling on the wasabi until his face turned red and tears came to his eyes.... all the time insisting he loved it! Shocked to hear of his untimely passing. I'll miss you buddy.

Kevin, Leslie and I met in January 1977 at the Breakers Hotel in Palm Beach, Florida. We were all newly employed, young and eager to start our lives.
We became fast friends from the start and while a hurricane chased him away in 1979, we stayed in touch regularly through funny, late night phone calls, texts, when they became available, and even hand written letters, imagine that?
It’s hard to believe it’s been 42 years!
In 1987 I received a promotion at CEO and while looking for office space, new employees, etc...I wrote to Kevin and asked if he would be interested in coming to Washington, DC to be my assistant. The answer was “But of course I would”...
So, that is how he arrived in Washington, DC. For those that knew us in our working relationship, Kevin and I could finish each other’s sentences, however he would always help me clean mine up...LOL...He was the best friend anyone could have.
Leslie and I will always treasure Kevin’s friendship for eternity.

Kevin was one of my favorite people to work with or just to be around at the Kennedy Center. Whenever we bumped into each other we always managed to find something to laugh at or about. We shared our interests in traveling and good food. We spent some time outside of the Kennedy Center that allowed me to really see and appreciate his sense of humor. After his spinal surgery we talked and texted, but there was nothing like seeing him and his smile when he returned (neck brace and all). Last year when I was killing myself with several extra shifts to pay for my trip to South Africa this year, every time he saw me he would encourage me to fight through the tiredness and joke that I will probably be able to upgrade to Business class and a hotel suite once I was done. I know that I will always take a double take when I pass the box office because I was so used to seeing and chatting with him before reporting to my shift. I will truly miss him and will always have only fond memories of him.

Kevin was so multi-talented but I will remember him best as a raconteur... particularly of all things regarding the fabled upbringing we shared in our Village hometown of Bath, New York. I would be mystified, throughout the years, by the detailed and spot-on anecdotes he so casually was able "to offer up." That wholesome, bemused chuckle of his....I'm going to miss it much. Every good thought and prayer for him, his family, and the many others who rightly found him so endearing.

I first met Kevin when I went to work at Chief Executives Organization, over 30 years ago. It didn't take long before I realized he was someone very special. Always upbeat, full of interesting commentary, warm and friendly, as well as very intelligent, Kevin was a true gem. I felt very fortunate to know him. As he did with so many, we have kept in touch over the years, long after we worked together. I didn't see him often, but when I did I always felt blessed to be his friend. He will be sorely missed.

I wish I had spent more time talking with Kevin. He was so funny. He ushered at Ford's and Arena Stage as well as other places. Once I was telling him about a lengthy pre-show conversation I had with another usher at Folger ("talking shop"). After our conversation ended, a woman came up to me and said that she never realized there was such an usher subculture in Washington.Well! I was a bit miffed at being referred to as a subculture. When I told this story to Kevin, he took great glee and pride in being a member of a subculture ("secret handshakes").
He was always enthusiastic and fun.

Kevin had music in his heart. I recall arranging to meet him and others at DC's National Cathedral on July 4th for special concerts there. He took pains to point out special elements of the cathedral and even remembered it was my daughter's birthday and sent me to what he considered the best DC cupcake bakery for treats I could pick up at the curb. Later, he sent links to online performances of concerts he knew I would enjoy. What a great person. Every family member of mine who met him has said they will miss him for a long time.

Kevin will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. He made such an impression on anyone he met because he listened and found out what was important to them and was so good about remembering these things. One memory that sticks out is the week before my wedding he somehow orchestrated with our IT dept. so that everytime I logged into my computer it played Mendelssohn’s Wedding March.

My husband Wally and I met Kevin years ago through the Chief Executives' Organization. There were many circumstances that found us sharing a lot of time together. We had in common a sense of humor, love of pipe organs and all things about cooking. Kevin thought it was hilarious that I confessed I cannot make jello. For almost 30 years he teased, sent jello cookbooks, and often sent actual jello. Earlier this year he was fascinated by the cold weather in Chicago, my hometown, and asked for photos of the totally frozen Lake Michigan - views from my apartment windows. He shared news of people he knew I would have an interest. He was a pal. Although we have not seen each other in a long time, he stayed in touch. He will be missed. RIP friend.

I laugh when I think about our competition - who could say the Act of Contrition the fastest! Kevin held my hand during my toughest days. He kept me centered on what matters most. I am grateful to have Kevin as an angel in my life.

I knew Kevin through our mutual dear friend, Lynn Olson. He was always cheerful, funny, and kind. He also had such a range of interests, some of which we were privileged to share. It was a treat to run into him when we went to the Kennedy Center or Strathmore Hall, but my favorite Kevin outing was going with him to an organ recital in Virginia, where we saw more than a dozen Wurlitzers and other beautiful instruments. May he rest in peace, surrounded by an angel chorus and lots of harps.
