As a person who worked as a member of the Bradford County Veterans Appreciation Picnic it was for ever a privilege to have known Amelia AKA ( The Mayor of Bath Bath VA. Every year she waited patiently for the day of this picnic and would sign up for it and its day trip. Amelia would not miss this picnic each and every year. She was a joy to see her year after year and always had a smile as she got back to the bus her remark was I WILL SEE YOU NEXT YEAR.!!!!!!!!!!!

I have had the honor of taking care of Amalia for the last four years. She is one of the most unique and loving people I have every meant. We have laughed, cried and argued many times together and I am proud to call her my good friend. You will be truly missed Mama I am sure Elvis met you at the pearly gates. Fly high my friend until we meet again love ya!

Amalia was such a loving person. I took care of her at the VA and enjoyed talking with her and taking care of her. She was always very active in the community as well. She will truly be missed. Love you Amalia.

When I volunteered at the VA Amalia was always the first person to talk to me. I spent many bingo games with this woman and she truly is a ray of sunshine. Even when I would come into the hospital to visit my mom at work she would always call me into her room if she saw me walk by. She was well loved by many and I will truly miss her. Thank you for all of the life lessons Amalia, rest easy girl.

Amalia was a amazing lady. I had the pleasure of taking care of her at the bath va. She was a fighter when needed and a sweet and compassionate lady. She had a great sense of humor and loving caring way about her. She will be missed by so many of us.She was the Mayor,and the Queen of the Bath VA. Amalia fly high you deserve it RIP and I love and will miss you dearly.
