Obituary of Beverly S. Wheeler

Beverly S. Wheeler Beverly passed on to be with her Lord 6/6/2014. She was born on July 20, 1929 in Brighton, NY to her parents Frank and Marion Smith. Beverly graduated from Brighton High School and went on to the University College at Geneseo where during her senior year was crowned Queen of the senior ball. During her junior year she became engaged to David Wheeler and upon graduation they were married. In the early years they lived in various communities during which she gave birth to their wonderful children Michael, Gary and Diane. In January of 1961 they settled in Bath and during her time in Bath she donated time to various organizations which later on she was awarded the Rotary Paul Harris award for Community Service. Beverly was predeceased by her parents Frank and Marion. She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years David of Bath, sons Michael (Terry) of Bath and Gary (Lori) of Peroria, AZ and daughter Diane of Bath; grandchildren, Meagen (Rick) of Ingelside, NY, Sierra of Bath, Jessica (William) of Bath, Sarah Rae of Batavia, NY, Nick of LA, CA and Lauren (Dennis) of Peroria, AZ and 6 great grandchildren. At the wishes of the family there will be no calling hours and there will be a private service for the immediate family. She will be laid to rest in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery and her monument will have an inscription "we did it our way" and they did. In lieu of flowers the family wishes any donations be made to The Parkinson's Foundation in Rochester, NY.
