Obituary of Pauline R. Sutryk

Pauline R. Sutryk, age 89, of Bradford, NY, died Sunday, June 22, 2014 at home surrounded by her family. She was born May 5, 1925 in Elkland, PA the daughter of Earle and Frances Idella (Bohart) Ayers. Mrs. Sutryk was the loving farmers wife of Edward K. Sutryk to whom she was married for 56 years until his death in 1993. She was the Town Clerk of Bradford for many years. She also worked as the Cafeteria Manager and a Bus Driver at Bradford Central School. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 1209 in Wayne, NY, Bradford Fire Company Auxiliary and the St. Stanislaus Church in Bradford. She is survived by her children, Sandra Rogers of Bradford, NY, Natasha Middleton of Nahunta, GA, Edward J.(Sharon) Sutryk of Hammondsport, NY and Albert A.(Karen) Sutryk of Savona, NY, 10 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren, her brother Miles Ayers of Elmira, NY; sisters-in-law, Joan Buck and Regina Parulski, many cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, one grandson and 3 sisters. Family and friends may call on Wednesday June 25, 2014 from 6:00-9:00 pm at Fagan's Funeral Home, 31 West Morris St., Bath, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday June 26, 2014 at 1:00 pm at St. Stanislaus Church in Bradford, NY with Father Pat Connor as celebrant. Burial will be in the Bradford Cemetery.
