Obituary of Rose M. Machuga

Rose Marie Machuga, age 82, of Savona, NY died unexpectedly on December 5, 2020 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center in Elmira, NY. She was born March 28, 1938 in Cameron Mills, NY the daughter of the late Francis and Florence (Chase) Covell. She attended Bath Haverling School. Rose had worked at Westinghouse in Bath and also helped on the family farm. Rose loved her children, grandchildren and very special dog Lucky. She enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, babysitting and taking care of the animals on the farm. She also enjoyed decorating for the holidays. She is survived by her four children; Debra (Jefrey) Greico of Rome, NY, Cheryl Machuga of Painted Post, NY, Theodore (Robyn) Machuga and Raymond Machuga both of Savona, NY; grandchildren, Christopher and Benjamin Stevens of Taberg, NY, Joshua and Matthew Greico of Rome, NY and Brianna Machuga of Savona, NY, the father of her children Theodore Machuga, sister Barbara Percival of Bath, NY and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her two sisters, Edith Nadjadi and Shirley Hatch. There will be no services and she will be buried in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Bath, NY. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in her name may be made to the Bradford Volunteer Fire and Ambulance Department, 7603 County Route 20, Bradford, NY 14815.
