Obituary of Cynthia A. Peterson

Please share a memory of Cynthia to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Cynthia (Cyndi) Ann Peterson passed away on December 29, 2020, with her children and mother by her side. She was born on July 5, 1953 to Donna and Bob Craig. Cyndi’s work ethic, resilience, resourcefulness and soft spot for the underdog were all highlighted during her 45 year career as a nurse. Having just retired from Taylor Health Center, she was looking forward to days in the sun, on the water, and making memories with her family. Cyndi met her sudden illness like the warrior we have always known her to be. Although her body was too tired to continue, she will always be alive in our hearts. Cyndi, ever able to make “home” where ever her feet landed, is now in heaven with her father Bob Craig. She is survived by her mother Donna, brothers Mike (Mary) and Don (Loretta) Craig, and sister Toni Harrison. Her children Julie (Dale) Simons, Robert (Yvonne) Rawleigh, and Jessie (Tim) Cornell-Gould. Cyndi adored her grandsons, Josh, Zach, Alex, Jason (Julie), Sully (Rob) and Ethan (Jessie). A very small funeral service was held on January 2. We will celebrate Cyndi’s life this summer with a memorial service. Donations in Cyndi’s memory can be given to the Bath Humane Society.
