His goal each day was to make someone’s day better and he did that well. Adam had a ready smile and loved to laugh and his sense of humor encouraged you to laugh with him. Adam was the best “Adam” he could be. So he would wish for you to go out and be the best “you” you could be. Use the gifts God has given you to love unconditionally, listen unconditionally and help others. Put a smile on someone’s face today. Adam A. Walker, age 39, passed away on 01/09/2021. He was born in Bath, NY on November 23, 1981 to Thomas Walker of Wayland, NY and Debra (Packard) Walker of Savona, NY. He leaves behind a brother, Nicholas and Melanie (Beeman) Walker of Greenbackville, VA; and a sister, Kelly and John Tucker and his niece, Riley Tucker of Malfa, VA. He also leaves behind numerous extended "adopted" family members, and close friends who will miss his kind heart and helpful ways. Adam loved deeply and was committed to his family, even to the point that he was willing to donate his stem cells for a family member who needed them and he was a match for. Adam graduated from Haverling Central School in 2001. He worked at McDonalds in his younger years, and was well known working at Kwik Fill. In the last 13 1/2 years he worked at Hillside in a variety of roles and impacted the lives of many of the clients and co-workers with his ability to understand how they were feeling and helped them to work through to a more healthy place. He had an amazing way of reaching the hard to reach client that could be found on the campus. He 'pulled' the best out of "his boys" and his patient ways helped both them and his co-workers. His ready smile, his strong hugs and unconditional love was a gift that God equipped him with. Adam was all about loving his friends, helping others, listening and encouraging. He loved his music and taught others to love it as well. He loved being in the outdoors, but loved fishing the most; and as a result, he shared his love of the art of fishing with many, especially his Hillside boys.
