Carol W. Holder, age 80, of Hammondsport, NY, went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 1, 2021. Carol was born on March 20, 1940 in San Antonio, Texas, the daughter of the late William and Elsie (Bush) Ideker. She was a member of the Harvest Baptist Church in Bath and always looked forward to attending church services and Bible Study. Carol enjoyed taking walks, especially in the village of Hammondsport, which she loved very much, meeting new people and talking with friends. Her favorite times were spent with her family and going on long car rides together. She loved animals and her dogs brought her much joy throughout her life. She will be missed by her granddog Sadie. Carol is survived by her children; Dorene Spencer of Bath, NY, Donovan Lawrence of Canisteo, NY, Dana (Richard) Randall of Fremont, NC and Daniel Lawrence of Lake George, NY; grandchildren, Richard III (Brittany) Randall of Gloucester, VA, Brian (Lili) Scott of Los Angeles, CA and Tyler Shaut (Sara) of Bath, NY, great granddaughter, Arianna Randall, sister Patricia Alison and brother Ricky Ideker both of San Antonio, TX and several nieces. Memorial services will be held at a later date to be announced. Memorial donations in her name may be made to the Finger Lakes SPCA, 72 Cameron Street, Bath, NY 14810.
