Obituary of Delbert C. Power

Delbert C. Power, age 76, of Prattsburgh, NY died Friday, February 19, 2021 at home. He was born September 23, 1944 in Grand Rapids, Michigan, the son of Claire and Evelyn (Reed) Power. Mr. Power worked as a Prep Cook at Bob Evans Restaurant in Corning, NY and retired from there. He was a US Marine Veteran. He is survived by his wife Rosemary (Prentice) Power; children, Melissa Embrey (Travis Bates), Delbert Jr. (Rebekah) Power, Michael (Tiffany) Power, Amanda (Stephen) Lutze, Joshua (Stefani) Prentice and Marshall (Valerie) Stanley; grandchildren, Tyler (Jessika) Rogers, Gabrielle Power, Brayden Lutze, Lillian Lutze and Weston Prentice and his sister, Bonnie (Bob) Ennis. He was predeceased by his sister Virginia "Ginny" McGee and three brothers, Gerald, Gordon and Steve Power. Private services will be held at a later date and burial with military honors will be in the Bath National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in his name may be made to the Centenary United Methodist Church of Bath, 3 W. Washington St, Bath, NY 14810 and Care First, 3875 Meads Creek Road, Painted Post, NY 14870.
