Obituary of Walter T. Baroody

Walter "Skip" Baroody, age 67, of Prattsburgh, NY died Sunday, April 11, 2021 at the Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY surrounded by his family. He was born December 13, 1953 in Bath, NY the son of John and Mae (Ritter) Baroody. Skip was a graduate of Haverling Central School Class of 1972. Skip retired as a Caretaker from the Bath National Cemetery, after 42 years of service. He was a US Army Veteran of Vietnam. He was a collector and restorer of antiques. He especially enjoyed woodworking and motorcycle rides. He was a loving father and will be dearly missed.
Skip is survived by his sons, Daniel (Amanda) Baroody and Michael (Johanna) Baroody, his mother Mae Baroody and the mother of his children, Donna. He was predeceased by his father John Baroody and his son Jeremiah A. Baroody.
Family and friends are invited to the visitation at Fagan's Funeral Home in Bath on Monday, April 19, 2021 from 5:00-7:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his name to a veterans or animal rescue organization of your choice.
