Julia Ann Utter passed away at age 86 at her home on April 26th. Julia was born February 6th, 1935 to Michael and Mary (Benyak) Nadjadi at their home in Bradford, NY. Shortly after graduating Bradford School, she married Larry Utter in August 1953. She worked for Westinghouse and Phillips until she retired. Julia loved birds, gardening and mowing her lawn. She was predeceased by her husband Larry after 39 years of marriage, her son Mark, 2 brothers Robert & Michael Nadjadi, and sisters Regina Nadjadi, Mary Davidson, and Rose Nadjadi. Julia is survived by family including her 2 daughters: Colleen Martin & Maureen Utter (Bill Wilson), 3 siblings: Victor Nadjadi, Margie Glick (Bob) and Dorothy Elliot (Jim), 5 grandchildren: Natalie Hall (Nathan Gould), Nathan Hall, Shane Ellison, Sonya Ellison and Stephanie Ellison. Julia also has 8 great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews in the family. She is also survived by her Sister-in-Law Barb Nadjadi, brother-in-law Tom Davidson, Son-in-Law Stephen Ellison, beloved cat Measie and her BFF and cosmic twin Joanie Buck. A graveside service will be scheduled for Julia on Saturday May 8th at the Holy Sepulchre Roman Catholic Cemetery in Bath at 11am. There will be a gathering following the funeral service at the Avoca American Legion. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the American Cancer Society.
