Roseann T. (Crescitelli) Murray
Roseann (Ro) Crescitelli Murray passed away peacefully in her sleep on Monday, July 12, 2021, at the age of 77. Born to parents, Americo and Anna Ditullio Crescitelli, Roseann was a graduate of Nativity Business School in Philadelphia, PA. She married Michael D. Murray and spent the remainder of her life devoted to her family and her Catholic Faith. Throughout her life, Roseann worked in many different capacities, including as an operator for Bell Telephone and in secretarial roles for Walter F. Smith and Company and the Bradford Central School. She completed her career with her retirement as a Keyboard Specialist from Monterey SICF/NYSDOCCS. Aside from her family, Roseann’s greatest pride was her commitment to her church community. She was a member of St. Stanislaus Roman Catholic Church (Ss. Isidore and Maria Torribia Parish), where she served as the Religious Education Coordinator for almost thirty years. In addition, Roseann enjoyed her time as a “lucky lady” in multiple casinos, gardening, volunteering, spending time with her grandchildren, and traveling to visit family and friends.
Roseann is survived by her five children, Michael (Jamie) Murray, Jr., Patricia (Jim) McGettigan, Tom Murray, Kathleen (Curt) Bailey, and Regina (Ed) Wagner. She also leaves behind the legacy of ten grandchildren: James McGettigan, Teri (Matthew Matteson) McGettigan, Michael Murray III, Jackie (Kal) Murray McCaslin, Kelly Murray, Victoria (Anthony) Wagner Johnston, Allison Wagner, Emily Wagner, Nicholas Bailey, and Maxwell Bailey, along with five great-grandchildren: Haylee Johnston, Grayson Johnston, Matthew Krupa, Sawyer Matteson, and Kendra McCaslin. She is also survived by her siblings, Ralph (Lynn) Crescitelli, and Susan Crescitelli, as well as in-laws Louise (Matt) Land, Ann Crescitelli, Ralph Reinert, Geri Mulgrew, and Elise Murray, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Mike, her parents, Americo and Anna Crescitelli, her parents-in-law, Thomas and Louise Murray, her siblings and in-laws, Peter (Judy) Crescitelli, Maria Crescitelli, Angela (Frank) Dreyer, Thomas Murray, and Maureen Murray.
