June Cheplick, 91, of Bath, died at her home on Saturday August 7, 2021 after a brief stay at Arnot Ogden Hospital in Elmira. Betty June Haymond was born in Fairmont, West Virginia on Feb 23, 1930 to Mark and Helen Haymond. She graduated from Weston High school and Fairmont State College before marrying Frank Fox in 1952. While living in Fairmont, WV, they had 3 children, Donna, Cindy and Frank, Jr. The family moved to Bath, NY in 1969, where June worked for the Steuben Courier and Bath National Bank following Frank’s death in 1971. June married Joseph Cheplick in 1977. June was a member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Bath. She enjoyed the beach, golf, traveling, and playing bridge with friends. Survivors include Donna Fox, of Morgantown, WV, Cindy (Dan) Kuhn of Bettendorf, IA, Frank (Geri) Fox of Keyser, WV, six grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Friends may visit the family at Fagan’s Funeral Home in Bath on Thursday August 12th from 6-8 pm. with services at St. Thomas Episcopal Church on Friday August 13th at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts can be made to the PKD (Polycystic Kidney Disease) Foundation: PKD Foundation, PO Box 871847, Kansas City, MO 64187 or to St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Bath.
