Obituary of Nancy Watson

Nancy Watson, age 79, of Beaver Dams, NY and long time former resident of Wheeler, NY died Friday, August 26, 2021 at the Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, PA. She was born in Bath, NY January 1, 1942, the daughter of the late Clair W. and Fanny I. (Lee) Fries. Following her retirement from Philip's Lighting Co., Nancy enjoyed spending time with family while vacationing at the beach and attending her grandchildren's sporting events. She was an avid reader, enjoyed doing puzzles, baking and going to the Casinos.
She is survived by her daughters, Kelli (Jamie) Bigelow of Beaver Dams, NY and Wendy (Mark) Watson-Sherwood of Freedom, NY; grandchildren, Leann (Russ) Becker, Craig Sherwood, Cory (Rissa) Bigelow, Tanner (Deshonn) Bigelow and Lawson Bigelow, great grandchildren, Cayden and Nathan Becker, special friends, Sheri Weldy and Jade Padgett; siblings, William Fries, Bonnie Schmidl and Shirley Frize and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Peter P. Watson, daughter Jodi Bigelow and siblings, Ronald Fries, Judy Lewis and Sally Strzepeck. A graveside service will be held on Saturday September 11, 2021 at 11:00 am at the Wheeler Cemetery.
