Dorothy "Bunny" Jacobs, age 75, of Bath, NY died Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at the Robert Packer Hospital. She was born in Pensacola, FL on June 8, 1946. Bunny achieved a Bachelor's Degree from Nazareth College in Kentucky and her Master's Degree from Elmira College. She was a retired First Grade Teacher from the Bath Central School District and enjoyed volunteering at the school after retirement. She was a very loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend, who will be remembered for her smile and considerate, kind and compassionate ways. Bunny enjoyed traveling to the beach, especially Keuka Lake, with her daughter and family, her brother, and her friends. She was always involved with her grandchildrens events, enjoying their sports and concerts. She is survived by her daughter Alicia (John) Taggart; grandchildren, Sami, Jake, MacKenna and Cadin Taggart, brother Lee E. Mifflin Jr., best friend Annie Bartz and puppy Ozzie. She was predeceased by her mother Dorothy 'Dot' Mifflin and sister Alice 'Bambi' Mifflin and beloved dogs. Family and friends are invited to the visitation at Fagan's Funeral Home in Bath on Saturday, September 18, 2021 from 11:00-12:00 where Covid restrictions will be enforced. A graveside service will be held on a future date to be announced, at the Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Hammondsport, NY.
