she managed the coffee and doughnut shop and enjoyed playing euchre and billiards with her
friends. She was also an active member of her congregation as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Janice loved life- she was a fighter; surviving cancer, two heart attacks and many other
obstacles. She never let these things get her down, she pushed through with strong faith and
reliance on God - always with a smile on her face. She enjoyed family gatherings where she
would laugh, dance, and even play volleyball with her walker!
Janice did not wish to have any funeral services; The family will be having a celebration
of life at the Hammondsport American Legion on October 23, 2021 from 1:00pm to 4:00pm.
There will also be an online memorial/zoom meeting through the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s
Witnesses on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at 2:00pm; if you would like to attend please contact
the family. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to JW.org or the American Heart
