Obituary of Ronald D. Hewitt

Ronald D. Hewitt, age 71, of Bath, NY died Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at the Robert Packer Hospital. He was born November 20, 1949 in Cuba, NY the son of Douglas and Clara (Bulch) Hewitt. Mr. Hewitt retired from Corning Inc. where he worked as an Electrician. He was a US Army Veteran of Vietnam. He enjoyed woodworking and was an avid motorcyclist.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Jaclyn (Graham) Hewitt of Bath, NY, daughter Julia Hewitt of Ithaca, NY, son Edward Hewitt (Jamie Ryan) and daughter Amanda Cornwall (Nathan Lamoreaux) both of Bath, NY, ten grandchildren and one great grandchild; sisters, Terry (Randy) Hall of Friendship, NY, Sue Christy of Penn Yan, NY and Tammy Winchell of Minot, N. Dakota and his brother Jeff Mackenzie. He was predeceased by his children Clifford Lee Hewitt and Jennifer Lynn Hewitt and sisters, Linda Rhoads and Kathy Hutchinson.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at 1:00 pm at Fagan's Funeral Home in Bath, N.Y.
