Obituary of Mary L. Knapp
Please share a memory of Mary to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Mary was born on May 31, 1935 in Hornellsville NY to Shirley and Edna Woodworth. She joins her parents and two siblings, Thomas and Jack Woodworth in heaven. One sibling Shirley "Lee" Woodworth (Kathy) of Cocoa Fl survives.
Mary married Charles D Knapp on April 29, 1954 in Addison NY. Surviving are her beloved husband, 8 children, 19 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and lifetime friend Flossy O'brien.
Mary attended Addison Central School graduating Class of 19 . Mary worked for Dr. Marion Chimara She started and managed for many years a Food Co-op in the Baptist Church in Addison NY.
Mary has spent her life always giving of herself. For many years she baked and sold wedding and all occasion cakes, and chocolate candies on various holidays. She had a passion to always keep her loving hands sewing, crocheting, knitting, or cooking for a crowd. In her spare time she tended a large garden and canned over 5000 jars during the summer months for her large family.
Above all else Mary loved her family the most and would babysit on many occasions just to be able to spoil the little ones! Mom you put up a courageous fight for many years with your illness but now your pain is gone and now you are at peace. Our memories of you will live on forever.
Services will be Private at Fagans Funeral Home in Bath NY. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in memory of Mary L Knapp to: Keuka Foundation, THC-Unit A, 7571 State Route 54, Bath NY 14810.

God Bless each and every one of you.
