Obituary of Gerald Ronald Hewitt

Gerald "Jerry" Hewitt, age 80, of Bath, NY went to be with the Lord on December 10, 2021 with his loving family by his side. Jerry was born on June 9, 1941 in Blossburg, PA. He graduated high school in 1960 when he joined the Navy. He was honorably discharged in 1964. Jerry drove tractor trailers across the country for 25 years. He also helped build Disney World in Orlando, FL. Jerry leaves behind his loving wife of 28 years Ethel of Bath, NY; daughters, Sherry Ann Levandowski of Blossburg, PA, Michelle Kellar of North Carolina and Robin (Timothy) Ball of Addison, NY; sons, Peter and Matthew Myers both of Bath, NY. He also leaves behind four granddaughters; Averigh of Blossburg, PA, Maria and Alexis of Bath, NY, Brookelynn of Addison, NY; grandsons, Ethan of Addison, NY and Elijah of North Carolina, all of whom he doted over. He is also survived by his sister Linda (Duane) Anderson of Morris Run, PA, brother Timothy Windor of Zepherhills, FL; sisters in law Norma (Mark) Gill and Donna Vasseur both of Addison, NY, brother in law Harry Andrews of Addison, NY and several nieces and nephews. Jerry was preceded in death by his mother Leona, father William, two brothers Michael and Douglas and two sons Timothy and Ronald. A Military Graveside Service will be held on Friday, December 17, 2021 at 1:00 pm at the Bath National Cemetery.
