I remember when I was 4 or 5, Dad would just sit and watch tv (planet of the apes) and I would lay down next to him in the recliner and watch it (fell asleep). I don't know if I was daddy's girl or Mommy's, I do love him greatly and will miss him for an eternity. I regret not being able to see him on the last few days of his life. I caught covid and was hospitalized for 2 weeks.

He would walk to the post office, then to the restaurant for a cup of coffee and buy me a donut with chocolate on it. When we finished we would play pinball until Terry came and then they would play.
The most memorable memory of my daddy was when I had a birthday party with water balloons, all my friends would chase him with them and made him run away to avoid getting wet lol, that memory is very vivid in my dreams of him.
Not too many people know, but he supported us as kids and wanted us to do better than he did in life and pushed us hard to get the grades and avoid drugs and alcohol ( I was 5 when he told me this.)
My last memory of my father was when he would umpire the girls softball games where Penny and i would play. I started with in the out field, moved to 3rd base and caught a ball that would have been out of bounds.
He said he couldn't be prouder as a father, since I tried my best and did not give up.
I LOVE YOU!!

I met Roger while employed at Mercury Aircraft in the early 80’s. Although my stay at Mercury was brief, i would occasionally think of him through the years as our interactions were filled with laughter. I did, and still today consider him my friend as he made a positive impact on my life. Rest In Peace Roger.
