Please share a memory of Roberta to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Roberta Elizabeth (Dyer) Green passed away peacefully in her own home, surrounded by family on Friday, February 4, 2022. Roberta was born May 4, 1930 in Bath, NY to the late Fay and Anna (Coots) Dyer. Growing up, Roberta attended the one room schoolhouse in Towlesville and later attended, and graduated, from Haverling High School in 1948. Roberta married Clifford Green November 21, 1948 and together they had three children. Roberta was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and enjoyed spending time with family. Roberta worked many years at Haverling High School Cafeteria where she served, with a smile, some of the best beef pinwheels ever! Not only did Roberta enjoy cooking, but she also loved to bake. Her family and friends always awaited her special birthday cakes and holiday cookies! Together Roberta and Cliff enjoyed traveling, square dancing with the Champagne Whirl-a-Ways, and watching their grandsons play sports. Roberta is pre-deceased by her husband, Clifford Green, siblings Phyllis, Don, Ruth and twin brother Robert. She is survived by her children and their families: Linda (Jack) Glosser and grandson, Jack Glosser Jr., of Corning; Deborah Harding of Corning; Mark (Betty Ann) Green, and their sons Evan (Sarah) Green, Owen Green, all from Bath, and Colton Green of NYC, NY; her loving brother, Roger Dyer and special sister- in-law, Betty (Dyer) Nichols; and two special friends and caregivers, Bonnie Kastner and Tina Monroy. The family would like to thank: Dr. Michael Cilip for the many years of excellent medical care; Kindred Nursing Services, with a special thank you to Sarah McKinley; Care First for their compassionate care; and a special thank you to Neil Fagan and Fagan’s Funeral Home for supporting families through such a difficult time. A private service and celebration of life will be held later in the spring, with arrangements being handled by Fagan’s Funeral Home Inc. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you consider making donations to, Tyrtle Beach in care of the Bath Youth Bureau, 3 East Pulteney Square, Bath, NY 14810, or the Village of Bath-Beautification Fund, 110 Liberty Street, Bath, NY 14810.
