Obituary of Jeffrey A. Baroody

Jeffrey A. Baroody, age 39, of Bath, NY, died Saturday, June 18, 2022, at the Ira Davenport Memorial Hospital.  He was born in Bath, NY on July 27, 1982, the son of Jeffrey and Shari (Twedt) Baroody.  Jeffrey worked at the Bath VAMC as a Domiciliary Assistant and was transitioning to a position of helping the homeless veterans nationally. He had previously worked for Hillside, The ARC of Steuben and Pathways in Bath. His greatest love in life was his son Xavier Baroody and spending time with his family.  Helping others and his extensive knowledge of history were a source of enjoyment. Jeffrey was a graduate of Bath Central School and St. John Fisher College.  He enjoyed being a member of both the Wrestling and Football teams in school and the Rugby team in college.  He was an avid Philadelphia Eagles and NY Mets fan, as well as a fierce Fantasy Football Player.
He is survived by his son Xavier Baroody, parents Jeff and Shari Baroody, brother Thomas (Holly) Baroody all of Bath, NY, sister Jessica (Nicholas) Plumley of Carlisle, PA; nieces and nephews, Lucas Baroody, Emily Plumley, Cameron Plumley and Hailey Baroody; numerous aunts and uncles, especially Joe & Patty Baroody and Linda & Jerry Pubal, along with numerous cousins. He was predeceased by his grandparents; Joseph & Janet Baroody and Lloyd & Joann Twedt.
Friends and family may pay their respects on Monday, June 27, 2022, at Fagan's Funeral Home in Bath, with visitation from 1:00-3:00 and 4:00-6:00 pm, immediately followed by a memorial service at 6:00 pm.  Memorial donations in Jeffrey's name may be made to the American Battlefield Trust at  https://www.battlefields.org/give/support-education.
