Obituary of Geraldine C. Sabins

Geraldine C. Sabins, 48 of 8015 Peacock Road, Bath, NY passed away in the comfort of her home on Wednesday, September 24, 2014. Born February 12, 1966 in Long Island, NY, she was the daughter of the late John and Dorothy (Allaway) Cappiello. Geraldine was homemaker. She enjoyed shooting pool. She shot on the Hotel McDonnel league for several years. Geraldine loved to cook and bake. She loved spending time with friends and family, especially her grandchildren. Geraldine was a founder of the Huckster Memorial Fund. She enjoyed crosswords and crocheting. Survived by her significant other of 19 years: Albert (Huck) Covell; Daughter: Jennifer Sabins; Sons: Justin (Cassie) Sabins, John Sabins, and Jacob Covell; Step-daughter: Sara Walruth; Step-sons: Carl Clark and Joe (Dianna) Burleson; Mother: Dorothy (Shorty) House; Sisters: Flo Cappiello and Mary Cappiello; Brothers: Jeff Cappiello, Johnny Cappiello, Andy Cappiello, Dominic Cappiello, Bobby Cappiello, and Eddie Cappiello; Sisters: Flo Cappiello and Mary Cappiello; Best Friend: Deb Smith and many nieces and nephews. Plus many others close to her heart. Geraldine was predeceased by husband, Steve Sabins; father, John Cappiello and brother, Vincent Cappiello. Friends may call Friday, September 26, 2014 from 12:00-2:00 at Fagan's Funeral Home, 31 West Morris St., Bath, NY. Funeral service will be held Friday at 2:00 pm at Fagan's Funeral Home, 31 West Morris Street, Bath, NY. Interment will be Friday in Maple View Cemetery, Cohocton.
