Obituary of John Whitman Sausville

John W. Sausville, age 72, of Arkport, NY died Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at the Bath VAMC.  He was born May 31, 1950 in Bennington, VT, the son of the late Harold and Margaret (Whitman) Sausvillle. John was a U.S. Army Veteran and a member of the Arkport American Legion.  John worked for Silk Road Transport of Arkport, NY.  He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle and spending time with family and friends, but most of all he loved being with his wife Alice.

He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Alice J. (Sucese) Sausville, son Adam (Caitlin) Sausville, daughter, Marcy Lynn (Duane) Peacock, nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren, brother David Sausville and sisters, Hallie Lovett and Jean Ellen Sausville four nephews, one niece and several cousins.

Graveside services with military honors will be held at the Bath National Cemetery on May 31, 2023 at 1:00 pm.
