Aunt Betty, Derek, and Tyler, I was deeply sad to hear about Uncle Terry. We all lost a fun loving soul with his passing. He will be missed for sure. Hope all of you are staying strong in this troubling time. I am sad that I(we) could not be there Saturday with all of you to honor his life and remember a great man. Love you all!
I will always cherish the memories and time spent with you Uncle Terry, they were always full of contagious laughter (That VanDerhoff Laugh).

Terry had a 1 in a million laugh and always a positive thing to say. He was the first to crack a joke in a tense situation ! The whole VanDerhoff family has a positive influence on SCS and a generation of Savona as a whole. Terry made growing up in Savona more fun. The world is a better place because he was in it.
