Obituary of Robert H. Graham

Robert (Bob) Graham, 89, passed away January 29, 2023, surrounded by family in St. Cloud, Fla. after a brief illness.  He was born July 29, 1933 the son of Walter and Ruth (Cole) Graham.  Bob was a great athlete, turning down a chance to try out for the Boston Red Sox to marry the love of his life Eva Mae Divens, March 29, 1952.  They moved to Thurston in 1960 and raised their two children Nancy and Jody.  He loved riding in and judging horse shows, hunting and fishing. He also loved to golf and take family trips in his infamous Pace Arrow Camper.  Camping with his family at Rainbow Lake gave him great joy.  He really liked cruising anywhere the ship was going. He was co-owner of Campbell Sales and Service, a former Thurston Town Supervisor, and fireman for 8 years. He retired from a local manufacturing company as maintanence supervisor. Nothing he liked better than being a grandfather and spending time with his family.  He spent the last six years wintering in Fla. He was predeceased by his parents, his brother Walt, sisters Mary and (JR) Washburn and Betty Washburn, brothers and sisters in law, Dora and Robert Polmanteer, Loren and Phyllis Divens and Floyd and Judy Divens.  He is survived by his wife Eva; his children, Nancy (Michael) Bartoo, son Jody (Patricia Carter), brother in law Julian Washburn, his adored grandchildren and many nieces and nephews, and his well loved dog Nuna. 

Family and friends are invited to Fagan's Funeral Home in Bath on Saturday, February 11, 2023 for the visitation from 11:00-1:00 and funeral service at 1:00 pm.  Burial will follow in Seaman's Cemetery, Savona, NY.
