Obituary of Edward E. Young

Edward E. Young, 74, of Bath, NY died Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born July 18, 1940 in Oneida, NY. He worked construction for many years and also as a consultant in the Gas and Oil Industry. Mr. Young enjoyed spending time with his family, feeding his birds and tending to his many flowers and gardens. He was predeceased by his parents Melvin and Louesa Young of Wheeler, NY, in-laws Dorothy Keltz of Bath, NY and Charles Keltz Sr. of Bath, NY and grandchildren, James, Angela and Samuel Young of Sandy Hook, VA. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Mary Lou (Keltz) Young; children and grandchildren, Stephen and Beverly Young and Shane Young of Pennellville, NY, Dean and Cyndi Young and Jack and Harry Young of Sandy Hook, VA, Kim and Jeff Rodbourn and Matthew and Ryan Rodbourn of Avoca, NY, Carl Young and Alexis Tanner and Carli Young of Avoca, NY, Ricki and Randy Mullen and Emily (fiancée Aaron Markowski) Erin and Elyssa Mullen of Fair Haven, NY and honorary granddaughter Megan Farr of Bath, NY. Siblings, Francis and Debbie Young of Cross Hill, SC, Margaret Lyke of Wheeler, NY, James and Beverly Young of Bath, NY, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday from 1:00-3:00 pm at the Buena Vista Wesleyen Church, Canisteo, NY. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 pm at the church with Pastor Dan Pickering officiating. Burial will be in Grove Cemetery, Bath, NY. Donations in Mr. Young's name may be made to the James P.
