Obituary of Robert B. Tetor

Robert B. Tetor, Jr., age 70, of Bath, NY died November 12, 2014 at the Ira Davenport Memorial Hospital. He was born April 3, 1944 in Corning, NY the son of Robert B. Sr. and Marion F. (Warren) Tetor. Sergeant Tetor was a US Marines Corps Combat Engineer and Vietnam Veteran with numerous awards and decorations. He proudly attended a one room school house in Monterey, NY, as well as Bradford Central School. Mr. Tetor was a member of the Bath Rod and Gun Club and the Barrington Rifle Club. He had many interests and passions and was an especially avid outdoorsman who loved to fish, hunt, shoot skeet and whatever kept him outdoors. He was a race car enthusiast and enjoyed watching and going to NASCAR races. He is survived by his wife Linda M.(Matthews) Tetor of Bath, NY, daughter, Rachael (Robert) Sherman of Troy, PA, son, Douglas R.(Stacie) Bailey of Elmira, NY, stepdaughter, Jennifer (Tom) Haischer of Beaver Dams, NY, stepson Michael Robinson of Bath, NY; grandchildren, Ross, Ben and Grace Sherman, Arek, Aaren and Gavin Bailey, and Makayla Haischer, sisters, Sharon Harrian, Helen Pucci and Marilyn Tongue, brother-in-law Tim Mack and several nieces, nephews and a close extended foster family. He was predeceased by his parents and stepparents, Lynn Stephens and Lillian Stephens. Friends may call on Monday November 17th from 10:00 am-12:00 pm at Fagan's Funeral Home, 31 West Morris St., Bath, NY. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 pm at the funeral home with Pastor Charlie Payne officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at the Bath National Cemetery at 1:00 pm.
