Obituary of Christine E. Gleason
Christine E. Gleason “Tina”, 62, of Savona, NY, passed away peacefully June 29, 2023, at Arnot Ogden Medical Center with her loving family and friends by her side.
Tina was born in Urbana, NY to Robert L. Shader and Barbara M. Ostrowski on February 4, 1961. She attended Prattsburgh Central School and graduated in 1979. She went on to earn an associate degree in business from Community College of the Finger Lakes. She was a dedicated employee of Chicago Title for over 35 years, where she worked as both a Title Examiner and Branch Manager. Tina loved spending time with her family and friends, riding motorcycle with her husband, Don, and cruising Keuka Lake in her pontoon boat. She had a passion for music and loved to dance along whether anyone was watching or not. She loved watching all birds but especially hummingbirds and bluebirds. Tina had an uncanny ability to make every person who ever knew her feel loved, and special.
Tina is survived by her loving husband, Don of 40 years, daughter Erica (William) Gleason, son Chad (Nikki) Gleason, 4 grandchildren, Kayden, Will, Grace, and Dylon. Her 2 fur babies, Sadie Mae and Charli "Charlene" Elizabeth, her mother Barbara Shader, sister, Roxanne (Milt) von Hagn, many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her brother, Robert G. Shader, sister, Debora Shader, and father, Robert L. Shader.
Friends and family are invited to call on Thursday July 6th between the hours of 1-3 PM and 6-8 PM at Fagan’s Funeral Home in Bath, NY. A Catholic Memorial Mass at St. Mary’s in Bath, NY will be held on Friday July 7th at 10:30 AM with Father Jim Jaeger as celebrant.
