Obituary of Carol E. Bonicave

Carol E. Bonicave, age 77, of Bath, NY died Wednesday, July 5, 2023 at Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, PA.  She was born August 29, 1945 in Bath, NY the daughter of the late Roger E. and Norma E. (Johnson) McGlynn.  Carol was a Hairdresser for many years at the Downtown Beauty Salon in Bath, she worked at Mary's Summer Kitchen and was also a Cook at Haverling Central School in the Hutch.  She was a graduate of Savona Central School.  Carol was involved with the Rainbow Girls, 4H and the Bath Grange #294. She was a past member of the Savona Federated Church.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years Edward Bonicave Jr. of Bath, NY; children, Gwendolyn (Patrick) Livingston of Lake City, FL, Edward R. (Danielle) Bonicave of Savona, NY and Jeff Bonicave (Jessica Baker) of Wilmington, NC, 9 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild; brothers and sisters in law, Barney (Donna) Bonicave, Priscilla Price, Martha Ober, Elaine (Gary) Pruyn and Jule White.  Carol was predeceased by her parents, three brothers, Tom, Eugene and Edward McGlynn, her granddaughter Autumn Simons and sisters in law, Susan Schulford, Judith McGlynn, Sharon McGlynn and Janice McGlynn.

Calling hours will be held at Fagan's Funeral Home in Bath on Monday, July 10, 2023 from 4:00-7:00 pm with a funeral service immediately following at 7:00 pm.  All are welcome to the graveside service on Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at 11:00 am at the Nondaga Cemetery, Bath, NY, followed by a dinner at the Masonic Lodge on the fairgrounds.

In  lieu of flowers memorial donations in Carol's name may be made to the Volunteer Ambulance Corps of Bath and the Finger Lakes SPCA.
