Obituary of Gladys M. Stephens

Gladys M. Stephens, age 84, of Campbell, NY died Monday, September 4, 2023 at home.  She was born on May 13, 1939 in Addison, NY, the daughter of the late Frank John Chapin Sr. and Hazel Catherine Smith Chapin.  Mrs. Stephens was a member of the Thurston Christian Church.  She had worked at Tractor Supply and also in Dietetics at Three Rivers and Green Meadows.  Mrs. Stephenss enjoyed cooking and baking.  She loved nature and especially growing her flowers.

She is survived by her son LeRoy Koser and daughter Laurie Ordway.  She was predeceased by her children, Chester Stephens, Audrey Banakas, Ronnie Stephens and Sarah Stephens; sisters; Virginia Morse, Beatrice Bennett and Hertha Mahnke and brothers, Frank Chapin Jr., Lawrence Chapin, Merle Chapin and Pat Chapin (Lawrence).

Visitation will be held at Fagan's Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 12th from noon-1:00 pm immediartely followed by a funeral service at 1:00 and then a graveside service and burial in Coopers Plains Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in her name to the Thurston Christian Church, 7511 Cty Rte 333, Campbell, NY 14821.
