Walter J. Blusewicz

Walter was married to his “I dream of Jeanie” for 53 years. That was one of his greatest accomplishments in life. He served in the Navy from 1966 to 1970 on the USS Franklin D Roosevelt during the Vietnam war. Upon his return, he worked at Bayway Refinery in Linden NJ, for many years. He was a huge Union supporter and managed to become President of the Local 877 in Linden NJ. He retired from Bayway in 2005 to follow his lifelong dream of owning a campground. He was the proud owner of Lake Demmon Campground from 2005 until he fully retired in 2021. He loved all the friends he made and considered family. He was a very giving man and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his loving wife, Jean his three daughters Karen (Troy) Gabello, Lori Norton, Jamie (Ken) Boyle, seven grandchildren Justin Rupp, Robbie Compton, Andrew Norton, Joey Compton, Alyssa, Jacob and Cody Banks and one great-grandchild Evander Norton. He also leaves behind his brother-in-law James Buckley, nieces and nephews Anne M. Buckley-Johnson, Maria Leamy, Johnathan Buckley, and Christine Jaworski.

There will be a celebration of life at a later date.
