Gary Edwin Haight, 71, of Bath, passed away Thursday, January 22, 2015 at Arnot Ogden Medical Center, with his family by his side. Gary was born October 11, 1943 in Stamford, NY, he attended Grand Gorge Central School and graduated from Cornell University in 1965. Gary retired from Farm Credit of Western New York in 1993 then worked at Bath National Bank for 9 years. He was a member of the Bath B.P.O.E. 1547, Farm Bureau, Cornell Cooperative Extension and the Bath V.F.W. 1470. Gary enjoyed hunting, farming, playing cards and spending time with his family. Gary is survived by his wife Carol Haight; sons, Jon Haight and Kevin (Lisa) Haight, daughter Diane (Scott) Walter; grandchildren, JJ (Laurie) Haight, Heather (Michael) Walter, Nicholas (Jolynn) Haight, Jamie (Tim) Lynch, Kristin (Kyle) Ohradzanski, Tyler (Nicole) Haight, Justin Haight, Kaden Haight, Amber (Ryan) Dunning, Ashley (Andy) Hink, Dylan Bennett; great grandchildren, Hunter Haight, Sierra Haight, Lillyan Reinhart, Griffin Haight, Zoey Lynch, Eastin Ohradzanski, Masyn Dunning, Lainey Dunning, Aubrey Hink, Ailley Hink; two sisters, Carol Stryker and Cheri Frances and brother Manley Haight. Gary was predeceased by his parents Edwin and Ruth Haight. Family and friends are invited to call at Fagan's Funeral Home of Bath on Sunday January 25, 2015 from 2:00-4:00 pm with funeral services to follow at 4:00 pm with Deacon Dave Lafortune officiating. In lieu of flowers those wishing may make a donation to the Elks National Foundation c/o Bath B.P.O.E. 1547 PO Box 607, Bath, NY 14810.
