Obituary of Betty L. Towner

Betty L. Towner, age 84, died Wednesday, January 14, 2015 in Ocala, Florida. She was born in Lucketts, Virginia, February 8, 1930, the daughter of Howard T. and Effie M. (Cross) Shugars. She worked for Westinghouse for 22 years and had worked for the Department of Motor Vehicles in Pinnellas County Florida for 10 years.
She was predeceased by her husband of 62 years, Frank J. Towner Sr. in 2009.
She is survived by her son Frank Jr. (Carol) Towner of Bath, NY; grandsons, Brian (Lisa) Towner of Bath, NY and Gary (Cesre) Towner of Rochester, NY and four great grandchildren.
Friends may call on Monday February 2, 2015 from 1:00-3:00 at Fagan's Funeral Home, 31 West Morris St., Bath, NY.
A memorial service will follow at 3:00 pm at the funeral home with Rev. J. Brad Benson officiating.
Burial will be in Nondaga Cemetery at a later date.
