Mary Catherine Talbot-Lathrop, born October 26, 1924 to Frye and Jennie (Vanderhoef) Talbot, died April 6, 2015 at the Taylor Health Center, Bath, NY. Mary held several jobs but her favorite was working in the shops at Disney World, Orlando, FL. She loved to travel the United States and especially camp where she made friends she never lost contact with. She was a dedicated mother to her five children and loved talking with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was noted for her needlework and up to two years ago, took many ribbons from the Steuben County Fair. Mary is survived by her children; Marian Hough, Susan Stell, Roy (Donna) Lathrop all of Bath, NY and Roger (Michele) Lathrop of California. Also, 18 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren; sisters, Ruth Tucceri and Elizabeth Sisson; brothers, James, Dale, Keith and Max Talbot and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, son Robert, grandson Christopher, sisters, Eloise (Howard) Nichols and Joyce (Howard) Rawleigh and brothers Frye (Johanna) and Theron Talbot and her husband Willard Lathrop. Friends and family are invited to call on Friday, April 10, 2015 from 9:00-11:00 am at Fagan's Funeral Home, 31 W. Morris Street, Bath, with a service to follow at 11:00 am. Burial will be private in Nondaga Cemetery.
