I am sorry for your loss. I know that my mother, Frances McGlynn Hallenbeck and your Mom, Gen, had a wonderful, long friendship until my mom died in 1998. I remember our visits to the dentist, where mom would drop us off and go over to Gen's for coffee and a good old fashion chat. You have indeed lost a wonderful person, who touched so many lives, including mine. May she rest in peace...and I hope Mom and Gen are having a good old fashion chat.
