Doris B. Simmons, age 93, of Bath, NY died July 10, 2015 at the Ira Davenport Memorial Hospital. She was born February 5, 1922 in Prattsburgh, NY, the daughter of the late Frankie Herman and Myrtle Belle (Cooper) Campbell. She retired from Westinghouse in Bath. She was a member of the Charles E. Wescott American Legion Auxiliary Post 173 and a past member of the Bath B.P.W. Doris enjoyed many winters in Ocala, Florida after her retirement. She is survived by her daughter Connie (Miner) Curtis of Bath; grandchildren, Rudy Jr. (Jenni) Thompson of Hammondsport and Suzanne Obrochta of Ocala, FL; step grandchildren, Mark Curtis of Bath, Miner Curtis Jr. of Addison, NY and Monique (Kevin) Knapp of Tioga, PA; great grandchild, Chance Thompson and step great grandchildren, Curtis Knapp and Madeline Knapp, her brother Wayne Campbell of Prattsburgh, NY and several dear nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband J. Roger Simmons and two brothers, Raymond and Gordon Campbell. Graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family in Prattsburgh Rural Cemetery.
