Regina I. Nadjadi age 78 died on July 2, 2015 at Davenport and Taylor, Urbana, NY. Regina was born on 3/4/1937 to Michael and Mary (Benyak) Nadjadi who predeceased her. She is also predeceased by two brothers Michael and Robert Nadjadi and one sister Rose Nadjadi. She is survived by 4 sisters and one brother Margaret Cogswell- (Bob) Klick, Bath, NY Julia Utter, Bath, NY Mary (Tom)Davidson, Savona, NY, Victor Nadjadi, and Dorothy (Jim) Elliott, Savona, NY. She is also survived by one sister-in-law Barbara Nadjadi, several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Regina worked for many years for Ingersoll/Dresser Rand. She had many interests and talents including painting, drawing and writing. She played guitar, rescued stray animals, and was well versed on the bible and holistic medicine. Throughout the course of her life Regina donated to a variety of charitable organizations and was always willing to help friends and family in need. A memorial mass at St. Stanislaus, Bradford, NY will be celebrated on September 19th at 10:30am with Father Pat Connor officiating. Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Bath, NY. A luncheon at St. Stanislaus Church to follow interment. A special thank you to the staff at Taylors Nursing Home who cared for her; especially staff on unit A. The family would also like to thank nieces Monica Luppino and Teresa Payne for their dedicated care during Regina's 8 year illness.
