Audrey Davis Kahabka, 86, of Bath, died on October 3rd at the Vincent House in Wayland, NY. Audrey was born in Delanson, NY to Lloyd and Ruth Davis who moved to Elmira from the Albany area where Audrey attended Southside High School and Graduated in 1946. Upon graduation, she worked in the secretarial sciences, enjoyed the arts of writing, painting, sketching and singing. She married John (Jack) Kahabka in 1947. They moved their family to Bath in 1962 and she had lived there since. She was a member of the Bath Baptist Church and later the United Methodist Church of Mitchellsville. She loved teaching Bible study classes and singing in the choir. Audrey is survived by her children, Robert (Carol) Kahabka of Woodhull, Lynda (David) Bolio of Fort Edward, David (Dori) Kahabka of Appalachian, 11 Grandchildren and 14 Great Grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Donald (Betty) Davis of Pine City, their children and families. She is preceded in death by her husband John (Jack) Kahabka, a brother William Davis of Big Flats, and a brother Richard Davis of Elmira. A memorial service will be held at the Mitchellsville Methodist Church on October 9 at 10:00 AM, followed by burial at the Bath National Cemetery in Bath, NY. Funeral arrangements will be handled by Fagan's Funeral Home of Bath, NY Memorial donations may be made to The Vincent House, 310 Second Ave. Wayland, NY 14572.
