Obituary of Nancy Marie Becker

Nancy Marie (Amoroso) Becker, 69 of Bath, NY passed away on Saturday, April 28, 2012 at her sister's home in White City, FL after a short battle with cancer. Nancy was born in Jersey City, NJ on February 27, 1943 to the late Benjamin and Anna Marie (LoVecchio) Amoroso, of Jersey City, NJ. Nancy was a retired BOCES employee where she worked for 19 years out of Cooper Plains, NY. She was also a co-owner of a gift shop on Liberty St. in Bath called Etcetera Plus. Nancy served two terms as a Village of Bath Trustee, and a liaison to the police department. After retirement she volunteered for The American Red Cross, Corning Chapter. Nancy is survived by her two sons Ronald (Brandy) Becker Jr. of Charlotte NC, and T-Jay (Patricia) Becker of Niceville, FL. Two sisters, Rosanne Bolton of Bath, NY and Barbara DeLozier of White City, FL. Two grandchildren, Mila and Max Becker. Countless cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. A memorial service will be held at Fagan's Funeral Home in Bath, NY on Sunday, May 6, 2012 from 2-4 pm. Donations can be made in lieu of flowers to The American Red Cross in Nancy's name. Fellowship for family and friends will be at the Bath Fire Hall immediately following the memorial service.
