Obituary of Florence L. Martin

Florence L. Martin, age 82, of Churchville, NY and formerly of Savona and Bath, NY died Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY. She was born in Lansford, PA November 7, 1933, the daughter of the late Andrew and Agnes Novak Koin. On August 13, 1955 she married Robert K. Martin in Lansford, PA. She was employed as a clerk at the Bath VAMC and Bonady's Liquor Store in Bath. She was an avid fan of NASCAR and the New York Giants. She is survived by two daughters, Regina K. (Don Barrett) VanDerhoff of Bloomfield, NY and Mary Ellen Tinney of Churchville, NY, son, Kenneth Martin of Virginia, seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren; brothers, John Koin of Lansford, PA, Andrew Koin Jr. of South Carolina and Joseph Koin of Georgia and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at a later date in the spring, to be announced. Burial will be in Bath National Cemetery.
