Obituary of Herbert Orrin Russell

Herbert O. Russell, age 95, of Bath, NY, died Thursday, April 21, 2016 at Ira Davenport Memorial Hospital, Bath, NY. He was born May 9, 1920 in Hammondsport, NY the son of Peter G. and Julia (Thomas) Russell. Mr. Russell worked at M.J. Ward & Son's in Bath for over 40 years, retiring from there. He was a former member of the Loyal Order of Moose of Hammondsport. He enjoyed farming in his early years.
He is survived by his wife, Viola Katherine(Palmer) Russell of Bath; three sons, Paul (Karen) Russell of Beverly Hills, FL, Earl (Ruby) Russell of Bath, NY and Keith (Denise) Russell of Tupelo, MS, ten grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren, brother Thomas (Mary) Russell of N.Cohocton, NY and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call today, April 23, 2016 from 1:00-3:00 pm at Fagan's Funeral Home in Bath. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 at the funeral home with Reverend Barre Butts officiating. Burial will be in Mitchellesville Cemetery, Bath. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Mitchellesville United Methodist Church, 8421 County Rte 13, Bath, NY 14810.
