Obituary of Margaret Ann Evans

Please share a memory of Margaret to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Margaret Ann (Peggy) Evans passed away peacefully on April 27, 2016. Peggy was born in Bath, NY on December 13, 1948 to Frank and Margaret (Peg) Evans. A graduate of Haverling (Bath) Central School, Peggy continued her education at Corning Community College. A 25 year work association with Steuben County was culminated by serving as Steuben Family Court clerk under Judge Donald Purple. Peggy is survived by several cousins, including William Bartz and Anne Bartz of Hammondsport, NY, Joan Kammire of Holly Springs, NC, David Wise of Trumansburg, NY, Bonnie Schriner and Kathy Evans of Trout Run, PA. The professional staff at the Taylor Health Center was considered to be her extended family as they provided the skilled care and nurturing environment Peggy required for nearly 20 years. Always one to reminisce about the "good times" in life, Peggy would reflect on her interesting work experiences, living on Keuka Lake, outings with friends and family, learning to play golf, as well as travels to Hawaii and Hilton Head Island. In fond memory of her childhood pets, "Tweety" and "Brownie," the family requests donations be made in Peggy's name to the Finger Lakes SPCA, 72 Cameron Street, Bath, NY 14810. A Funeral Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Mary's Church in Bath on Monday, May 2, 2016 at 11:00 am with Father Pat Connor as celebrant. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Bath, NY. Condolences may be made at www.fagansfuneralhome.com. .
