Mrs Wilhelm from the first time I meet her over 47 years ago, always had a kind and welcoming spirit. She would always ask me how my parents were doing and was I OK? I always felt welcome in her home.
I remember the first time I meet her. It was winter break from my first semester At Clarkson University. I drove my Father's pickup form Long Island to Bath to see her son Dan. My Father insisted that I bring a present, so I packed "50" pounds of potatoes (we were potato farmers). I remember Mrs Wilhelm's face and the big smile up receiving the gift.
I want to express my heartfelt condolences to the Wilhelm family..

My early teenage years were enlightened by the time I spent with Aunt Helen and Uncle Charlie and their children. I have the memories of the summer at the lake with them, babysitting the children in Thurston, babysitting and cleaning house for her sister Lena, and helping her mother prepare vegetables for canning. All members of her family were so good to me.
Aunt Helen had much enthusiasm for life and she talked so many times about planting her seeds for her flowers in the spring, the projects she was involved in, her church activities and her daily walks. I am going to miss my conversations with Aunt Helen, but will always have wonderful memories of her.

I want to add my voice to all whose lives were enriched by my dear beloved Aunt Helen and I'm glad to share this blog written in tribute to her (type the link below into your browser). The sadness over her loss is deep, but she was truly one in a million and leaves a very bright light for us all. There are no better flowers than she was! No mother or aunt had more loving children who cared so much and my heart goes out to Anne, Dan, and Mike.
