When my parents were in the Steuben Centers for one of their stints there, Pearl would often invite me to eat lunch with her if she saw that there were others visiting my parents and our table was crowded. We had many talks and always found it a pleasure to sit and talk with her. I also found out that a couple times she conned me into getting her something to eat or drink that she knew she wasn't supposed to have! My condolences to the family-Pearl was certainly a wonderful and unique individual!
